A series of illustration inspired by excerpts from a short story by Japanese author, Haruki Murakami.
1. A strong wind would make me think my body was about to be blown to the end of the earth, to some land I had never seen or heard of, where my mind and body would separate forever.
2.The old man went on and on pouring water over my feet. Strange―no matter how much he poured, the pitcher never ran dry. I began to worry that my feet would eventually rot and melt away.
